June and July Dokusan, with Pat Hawk Roshi (for students of Pat Hawk): on certain Mondays and Saturdays when he joins us, Roshi will hold dokusan at ZDS.

Roshi's teisho will be open to the public, beginning at 2:30 PM sharp; please be in the outer room 5 - 10 minutes earlier, to be shown to a seat. Regular Sat. sits are cancelled on this day.

Announcing: Peer Talks on Zen Buddhism at ZDS; first Saturday of each month (unless displaced to other date by other event), following end of zazen at about 10:30 AM, at the Zendo. Announcing: Tuesday mid-day Zazen at ZDS; since Tues., Feb. 12, 2008, mid-day zazen is available at ZDS from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM, each Tuesday, on a continuing basis.

Potluck and Poetry -- Monthly Sangha Arts Evening -- Sat., [ TBA -- suspended until Spring, 2009 ] 2008; 6:00 PM - 8:30 (?) PM, in the comfortable ZDS Fireplace Room. Food-sharing from 6-7 PM; arts-program (poems, stories, show-and-tell, songs, musical performances, jokes, puppet-shows, etc.) from 7 PM - about 8:30 PM. Bring food and drinks and poems, etc., to share, and musical instruments, brief show-and-tell items, etc. Or, just come to eat and check out the happenings. Get to know your fellow sangha members, and show them something of yourself. Open to all the family: don't miss this fun monthly event! All Welcome; FREE. Starting again in Spring, 2009!
