We are delighted to once again welcome Ben Connelly to Tucson. Ben is a Soto Zen teacher at Minnesota Zen Meditation Center and Dharma heir in the Katagiri lineage. He also teaches mindfulness in a wide variety of secular contexts including police and corporate training, correctional facilities, and addiction recovery and wellness groups.
On Friday evening, Ben will talk about his latest book, Mindfulness and Intimacy. The book is a practical guide about how mindfulness and intimacy can together enrich our empathetic engagement with ourselves and the world around us—with our values, with the environment, and with the people in our lives — in order to lead to a truly engaged, compassionate, and joy-filled life. A donation of $10 at the door is suggested, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
Ben also will be offering a workshop on Saturday, April 27 from 1-4 pm at The Little Chapel Library at 1401 E 1st Street. Suggested donation is $20. Limited seating; please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your space.
