This one day retreat, open to both new and seasoned practitioners, offers an intensive opportunity for meditation practice guided by ZDS Resident Teacher Dan Dorsey. Both breakfast and lunch meals are included.

(Financial assistance is available on request.) Payment of a $15 deposit confirms your registration, and can be mailed to Zen Desert Sangha, P.O. Box 44122, Tucson, AZ 85733-4122 -- or drop a check or cash into the black donation box on the wall at the zendo at 3226 N. Martin Ave. Please contact Joann so that she adds your name to the list.

For those unable to sit the full day, part-time attendance is possible. Contact Joann to arrange an adjusted schedule.

Please note that zazenkai registration closes on the Wednesday before the zazenkai. If you have registered and then find you are unable to attend, please cancel by Wednesday prior to the event. If you cancel after Wednesday (or simply do not attend), ZDS will collect the $15 deposit. This is so that we can manage food and other planning.

The zazenkai will replace the normal Saturday morning sit and sutra service at ZDS. Dan will deliver a dharma talk at 2:30 pm followed. Visitors are welcome at attend. To do so, arrive around 2:20 and wait in the carpeted room to be ushered into the zendo.
