On March 31 2012 a transmission ceremony was performed for the four of Pat Hawk's students he had previously appointed as Associate Teachers in the Diamond Sangha: Kristen Larson, Susan Weimer, Marsha Linehan and Dan Dorsey. Sadly, Pat himself was too ill to perform the ceremony, but Leonard Marcel Rōshi (his first dharma heir) officiated instead, and people came from all parts of the country to Picture Rocks to attend.
